La Oficina Federal de Estadística (Destatis) había anunciado ayer que Alemania registró en 2012 un nuevo récord de empleo con una media de 41,5 millones de personas con trabajo que cotiza a las cajas de la seguridad social, lo que supone un incremento del 1 % frente al año anterior.
El instituto público con sede en Wiesbaden, en el centro del país, subrayó que se trata del sexto incremento anual consecutivo y destacó que desde 2005 la cifra de personas con trabajo y residentes en Alemania ha aumentado un 6,8 % o 2,66 millones.
La Agencia Federal de Empleo subrayó, por otro lado, que sus arcas registrarán previsiblemente en 2012 un superávit de 2.600 millones de euros debido a que los gastos de 34.800 millones de euros resultaron finalmente menores de lo calculado en 2011 para los presupuestos del pasado año.
